You should have: • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade The role involves: • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
