Site carpenter — Geidam

Join our team: we are hiring a site carpenter in Geidam, Yobe State. You will work on a residential housebuilding project. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work Day-to-day duties: • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
