Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, England. You will work in a residential tower block. The role involves replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear. Requirements: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
