Immediate opening: aluminium tig welder (South Dakota)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Clark County, South Dakota. You will work at a busy sheet-metal workshop. On a typical shift you will set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions. Requirements: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends.
