Trowel-trade bricklayer • City of Baltimore, Maryland

We are recruiting: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in City of Baltimore, Maryland. The role involves checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings. Requirements: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding 5+ years on the tools preferred.
