Great opportunity: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Chippewa County, Wisconsin. You will work at a busy machine shop. Ideal candidate: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg Your main tasks: • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
