Sewing machine operator — Randolph County

Now hiring: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Randolph County, Illinois. You will work on an export house sewing floor. You should have: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently The role involves: • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality Six days a week, one day off.
