Great opportunity: we are hiring a tig welder in Rhondda Cynon Taf, Wales. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Requirements: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight On the job you will handle: • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Pay around £2,250 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
