Punch press operator wanted in Kern County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a punch press operator in Kern County, California. You will be based at a white goods manufacturing plant. Ideal candidate: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards On a typical shift you will fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $24 per hour, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
