Immediate opening: steel fixer (Kansas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel fixer in Morton County, Kansas. You will tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
