Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Saint Clair County, Illinois. The job is at a rebar fabrication workshop. The role involves form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover. What we are looking for: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
