Vacancy available: we are hiring a renovation plasterer in Livingston County, Michigan. You will be based in a refurbishment property. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel Your main tasks: • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat 2+ years on the tools preferred.
