Tile mason — Iosco County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tile mason in Iosco County, Michigan. You will be based on a new-build housing development. The role involves: • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas • Set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges • Level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system Requirements: • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes $20 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
