Cnc turning machinist — Juneau City and Borough

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in Juneau City and Borough, Alaska. On a typical shift you will check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; write and edit G-code programs at the control; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets. You should have: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
