Stamping press operator wanted in Harding County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Harding County, New Mexico. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges The role involves: • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
