Occupational health and safety officer — Baruten

Vacancy available: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Baruten, Kwara State. You will be based in a chemical processing unit. Day to day you will deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task. Requirements: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Pay around ₦160,000 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
