Pastry baker — Edmonson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pastry baker in Edmonson County, Kentucky. You will be based in a hotel pastry kitchen. Day to day you will check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; score the top of loaves before baking; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter. You should have: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Able to work early-morning and night shifts At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
