Urgent requirement: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Polk County, Minnesota. You will be based on a high-rise building site. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Confident with standard crane hand signals Day-to-day duties: • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
