Steel fixing chargehand wanted in Jasper County

Join our team: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Jasper County, Iowa. Requirements: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling On a typical shift you will fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift. We offer $22 per hour plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
