We are recruiting: we are hiring a cnc production machinist in Cabarrus County, North Carolina. You will be based at a busy machine shop. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges On a typical shift you will set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); load and index turning tools in the turret; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
