Immediate opening: we are hiring an estate gardener in De Soto Parish, Louisiana. You will work in a botanical garden. Requirements: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage The role involves: • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds Part-time with flexible hours.
