Great opportunity: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Wheeler County, Oregon. The job is in a sampling and tailoring workshop. On a typical shift you will press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go. Requirements: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines $30 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
