Meat cutter — Montgomery County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a meat cutter in Montgomery County, Kansas. You will be based at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. Day to day you will stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; season and marinate meat on request. Ideal candidate: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required 1+ years on the tools preferred. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
