Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar installer in Ouachita Parish, Louisiana. You will work at a rebar fabrication workshop. Day to day you will lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules. You should have: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Pay around $4,000 per month, based on your experience.
