Plant operator • Lawrence County, Kentucky

Vacancy available: we are hiring a plant operator in Lawrence County, Kentucky. You will work at a road-building project. On a typical shift you will carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; check for underground cables and services before digging; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer $3,200 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
