Great opportunity: crane rigger (Kansas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a crane rigger in Rush County, Kansas. You will be based at a busy construction site. The role involves: • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness 2+ years on the tools preferred. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
