Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Grafton County, New Hampshire. You will work on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Requirements: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire You will fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors.
