Ideal candidate: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day The role involves hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site; stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
