Urgent requirement: we are hiring a powder coating technician in Monroe County, Alabama. You will work at an automotive components factory. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process The role involves: • Degrease and clean metal parts before coating • Keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow • Cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time Rotating shifts.
