Shuttering fixer wanted in Cuyahoga County

Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Cuyahoga County, Ohio. The job is at a precast concrete yard. Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules Your main tasks: • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
