Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in East Feliciana Parish, Louisiana. You will work at an automobile body shop. Requirements: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Willing to work shifts and overtime The role involves tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $3,600 per month plus benefits. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
