Glass and glazing technician — City of Suffolk

Immediate opening: we are hiring a glass and glazing technician in City of Suffolk, Virginia. You will work at a glass and aluminium factory. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools an advantage • Physically fit, able to stand and lift throughout the shift • Comfortable working at height with scaffolding and ladders Day-to-day duties: • Glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions • Cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers • Clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film • Install toughened and laminated safety glass 4+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Contact us to fix an interview.
