Immediate opening: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Appling County, Georgia. Requirements: • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) The role involves inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels. 2+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $3,000 per month, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
