Security guard wanted in Torfaen County Borough

Immediate opening: we are hiring a security guard in Torfaen County Borough, Wales. You will be based at a hotel entrance. On a typical shift you will operate the metal detector and hand-held scanner at the door; detain shoplifters or trespassers and hand them over to police; raise the alarm and follow the evacuation drill in an emergency; hand over the duty register and brief the next shift at handover; write up incident reports after any disturbance. What we are looking for: • Basic reading of English and local language for registers • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Alert, disciplined and punctual Full-time, day shift.
