Great opportunity: milling machinist (Kansas)

Now hiring: we are hiring a milling machinist in McPherson County, Kansas. Day to day you will load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges. Ideal candidate: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Able to grind and set HSS cutters At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
