Join our team: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in San Juan County, Utah. On the job you will handle: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal Ideal candidate: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Own basic hand tools and PPE At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $10,000 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
