Immediate opening: we are hiring a bodywork technician in City of Norfolk, Virginia. You will work at a busy body shop. Day to day you will measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line; treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection; straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains; knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly; replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers. Requirements: • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage • Skilled in MIG welding and panel replacement Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts.
