Immediate opening: we are hiring a precision welder in Miami County, Indiana. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Day to day you will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
