Horticulturist wanted in Wabaunsee County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a horticulturist in Wabaunsee County, Kansas. On a typical shift you will dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste. Ideal candidate: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
