Now hiring: we are hiring a scaffolding labourer in Grayson County, Virginia. The job is at a commercial fit-out project. Requirements: • Able to read basic scaffold drawings • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment Day-to-day duties: • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts • Handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out • Lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips • Set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground 5+ years on the tools preferred.
