Truck driver wanted in Gilmer County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a truck driver in Gilmer County, Georgia. You will be based at a container freight yard. Requirements: • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules The role involves: • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading Six days a week, one day off.
