Gas pipeline fitter wanted in Vermilion County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Vermilion County, Illinois. Day to day you will lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves. You should have: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $180 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
