What we are looking for: • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage Day to day you will cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean.
