Great opportunity: bricklayer (Tennessee)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bricklayer in Putnam County, Tennessee. You will work at a residential building site. What we are looking for: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks The role involves erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
