Join our team: natural gas fitter (Akwa Ibom State)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Obot Akara, Akwa Ibom State. You will be based in a gas distribution network. What we are looking for: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Day to day you will test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate.
