Vacancy available: we are hiring a garment presser in Fayette County, Ohio. You will work in a garment export house. Day-to-day duties: • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics Ideal candidate: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets 2+ years on the tools preferred.
