Vacancy available: AC mechanic (New York)

Join our team: we are hiring an AC mechanic in Putnam County, New York. You will work at an HVAC contractor's workshop. The role involves: • Charge and top up refrigerant (R32, R410A) off the manifold gauges • Wire the indoor-to-outdoor interconnecting cable and connect the isolator • Mount indoor and outdoor split units on wall brackets and level them • Braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks • Run and lag the condensate drain line with the right fall What we are looking for: • ITI in refrigeration and air conditioning an advantage • Presentable and polite with customers on site • Can read electrical and piping schematics Full-time with occasional weekends.
