Fabricator-welder — City of Winchester

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in City of Winchester, Virginia. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. On a typical shift you will set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring). You should have: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Own basic hand tools and PPE Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
