Fire and safety officer — Clay County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Clay County, Nebraska. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot Day-to-day duties: • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits.
