Glazing assistant • Bienville Parish, Louisiana

Vacancy available: we are hiring a glazing assistant in Bienville Parish, Louisiana. You will work at a double glazing firm. Ideal candidate: • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves • Able to cut glass accurately to size You will apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass; glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions; secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points; seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead; measure window and door openings and order glass to size; install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades. 1+ years on the tools preferred. $26 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
